What is Body Composition Analysis?

Body Composition Analysis provides a measure of percent body fat, fat mass, muscle mass, bone mass, percent body water and extracellular water for the total body. Segmental analysis for muscle and fat distributions are also possible. A few different techniques are available. Dr. Merlo performs biomedical impedance analysis at the Digestive Health & Nutrition Center which is the most accurate and reliable method for both total body composition and segmental analysis.
